It’s among the first questions most people ask their partner each morning and there’s a good reason for that. A solid night’s sleep is essential for getting through the day with proper focus and mastering your workday.
But the importance of sleep goes much deeper than daily functioning. It’s crucial to your mental and physical health. Ongoing lack of sleep is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and stroke, according to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
There’s no way around it: sound sleep matters! That’s why Ergotron has made sleep the first topic in a new video health series, “I am clueless,” which we produced with our friend Sarah Edwards and sleep expert Sarah Moe.
