CareFit Pro Wins Good Design Award

Ergotron is honored to receive a Good Design Award for CareFit™ Pro in Australia’s international Good Design Awards. More than 55 jurors evaluated a record 835 entries based on overall design, design innovation and design impact. Our full-featured medical cart, CareFit Pro, was named a winner in the product design medical and scientific category.

CareFit Pro combines a modern look with the latest in technology to support caregivers’ focus on patient care. Designed for efficient workflows and ergonomic customization, CareFit Pro provides untethered productivity and unprecedented mobility.

The jury praised the unique aspects of CareFit Pro, including:

  • Pathogen reduction: Internal cable management and easy-to-clean surfaces support infection control to help keep caregivers and patients safe.
  • Power and battery life: An integrated Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe) battery and optional hot-swap battery keeps carts safely powered for more cycles to alleviate power anxiety.

“A well-designed device that demonstrates rigorous investigation into pathogen reduction. The ergonomic features are well suited to clinician needs and the approach to power/battery is an innovative way to reduce the concern of care providers.” – Good Design Awards jury
