As the impact of COVID-19 travels around the world, we continue to see the monumental dedication of nurses, doctors and healthcare workers worldwide who work tirelessly in these extraordinary and uncertain times.
We are so grateful for the difference they are making in the lives of all of those who have been impacted by this global pandemic.
We’re all experiencing something new. Something for the first time. As we move forward, Ergotron remains focused on supporting the needs of the healthcare community, caregivers, our employees and communities.
Meeting the increased demand
The need for medical care has increased and medical carts are in high demand. We’ve made shifts in our operations to meet this increased demand—from dedicating more team members to medical cart production to optimizing our supply chain so that we can get carts to our customers faster.
Prioritizing the safety of our employees and communities
As we respond to these new needs, we continue to keep the safety of our employees and communities a top priority. Employees who help produce our healthcare products are deemed essential workers and are strictly following the CDC’s guidance related to social distancing, sanitation and good hygiene practices.
We’ve also implemented a temperature check protocol so that no one enters our offices or facilities with an elevated temperature. Beyond those critical team members who are needed onsite, most of our headquarters employees are working remotely in response to the state of Minnesota’s guidance to stay at home.
Sincere gratitude and appreciation
Through all of this, we are encouraged by acts of kindness that abound and we continue to look for the good in one another, in our teams and in our communities. Some of our employees have sewn face masks for healthcare workers, friends and neighbors, and people with compromised health. Others are using 3D printers to create ear savers for face masks and visors for face shields for caregivers at their local hospitals.
Most importantly, thank you to all of the healthcare professionals who are working incredibly hard in an extraordinarily challenging situation to care for their patients and to keep all of us safe. You have our sincerest gratitude.
